We're looking for experience in BtoB sales -- but with a non-salesy style. We prefer some experience selling to executives (director to VP) at big brands, but there are opportunities to learn on the job. This is an inside sales role, on the phone with limited travel. Much of the sale is done via email and social media, so excellent written selling skills are a must.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Work closely with your team members to identify ideal prospects, contact them, build relationships, and gain an understanding of their business goals and priorities.
  • Screen out unqualified prospects.
  • Excellent delivery of our unique value proposition tailored to a prospect's business goals, priorities, and challenges; mostly by phone, email, and social media.
  • Tell our story in a way that resonates with the customer and demonstrates strong value.
  • Manage a highly consultative, collaborative sales cycle.
  • Manage a pipeline of 100 active accounts.
  • Build deep, long-term relationships with prospects.
  • Demonstrate passion and energy both externally with the customer and internally with our team.


What we’re looking for:

  • 1-3 years BtoB sales experience with senior-level executives (director and above) at Fortune 1000 companies. Proven track record with large corporate accounts. Note: Alternative job backgrounds are encouraged to apply if you have similar experience. Example: Non-profit fundraisers and business development directors have been very successful here.
  • Experience with senior executives at large companies in a professional context. Relate to their life, understand their issues, and know how to engage and communicate with them.
  • Relentless perseverance and tenacity. You're a committed, driven winner with grit. You can hit the phones all day long, brush off rejection, and stick with it because you know that what you’re selling is truly meaningful to the buyer.
  • Mission-driven. Passionate about doing work that has a meaningful impact on society. Show deep commitment at a personal level to the people we serve, the work we do, and our team.
  • Excellent communicator and strong writer. High-level verbal and written communication skills in all forms: in person, on the phone, in correspondence, online, and social media. It takes extremely strong writing skills to succeed here.
  • Strong CRM skills. Including pipeline management, reporting, and attention to detail. experience a plus.
  • Positive attitude. Cheerful-but-driven, great teammate, enjoys winning as a team, enthusiastic, good humor, adaptable, and raises the energy level in a room.
  • Interest in this industry. Shows genuine passion and curiosity for learning about the companies we serve, big business, and our members.
